Richard Patrick Tracey JP (born 8 February 1943) is a British Conservative politician from London. He is a Member of the London Assembly representing Merton & Wandsworth, and is Deputy Leader of the Conservative Group, Vice-Chairman of the London Fire and Emergency Planning Authority, and previously Member of the Metropolitan Police Authority (2008–10).
In 2008, he was appointed Mayor’s Ambassador for the River by Mayor Boris Johnson and charged with promoting greater passenger use of the River Thames. He is Conservative Lead on the Assembly Transport Committee, and a member of the Budget and of the Budget Monitoring Committees.
He was MP for Surbiton from 1983 until 1997 when the constituency was abolished. He served as Environment and Sports Minister from 1985 to 1987.
