As host of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, as well as the Rugby Sevens, Formula One and FIFA World Cup in 2018. Russia’s national presence in London is huge. There are two venues in Kensington Gardens: Russia.Park and Sochi.Park. It’s all ticketed and it’s not cheap. Russia Park promises picnic areas for families, performances spaces, sports activities, pavilions and folk craft exhibitions. There’s a stage where the Red Rocks shows will take place featuring well established Russian stars.
It’s all about winter at the Sochi.Park in Kensington Gardens. A 6000sqm pavilion will showcase the winter sports and there will be an indoor ice arena for world class skating performances. The pavilion will also feature 4D technology that allows visitors to feel like they’re at the winter games.
