Beck’s continues to show its commitment to art in London with the Green Box Project, a global fund aimed at inspiring, celebrating and financially supporting independent art, design, music and fashion talent.
But don’t expect to see these commissions on the white-washed wall of some post-POMO reclaimed warehouse. Rather, Beck’s is distributing ‘augmented reality’ cubes throughout the city. Use your iPhone app (Android coming soon) to make the art happen. Here’s a tip: you can find the boxes because they are coloured Beck’s green.
Take a look at this video to see what is going on:

Beck’s has also issued an open call for submissions, promising to bankroll and feature a total of 1,000 pieces over the next three years. Submissions will be reviewed by the Green Box team, headed by Nick Knight and Sam Spiegel. Check back after 8 August for submission details.
And, don’t forget, please enjoy Becks responsibly. www.drinkaware.co.uk
