ERAAS - Crescent

ERAAS’ self-titled debut album was released late last year. Recorded in a ‘rambling, atmospheric mansion in Western Massachusetts’, the record lurches between fleeting, barbiturate, almost-pop (Fang) and bass-heavy atmospheric drone (Crescent). The ambience of the house permeates the record, ‘its creaking boards and tenebrous hallways reflected in the claustrophobic, echo-laden production’ – which kind of elicits the response, ‘no shit’. Check out the truly terrifying video for Crescent, directed by Nick Cruscuolo, above.
ERAAS are currently on tour with Snipe faves Trust in the US before hitting the UK in May, with a show at Dalston’s Birthdays on the 8th.
