Most people support student demo, says poll

While most media are concerned with the ‘tens of thousands of pounds’ worth of damage to Tory headquarters, few have worried over the tens of thousands of pounds that have, as a result of the forthcoming changes to higher education, been billed to every single young person who wishes to attend college or university from 2012.

So it’s not surprising that the YouGov poll for the Sunday Times [We’d link – but the Times makes WAY more money by denying access, they think] yesterday shows that 65% of those polled support the students. Although a mere 13% support violent action. Still: 13% say yes to violent damage over tuition.
