Year Off by High Places
Today’s MPFree by High Places manages to sound completely fresh and at the same time, a touch reminiscent of 90s dance acts such as Olive or Bill Ray Martin, which is an interesting combination.
Some Children (feat. Michael McDonald) by Holy Ghost!
Taken from the NYC dance duo’s eponymous debut, this pleasingly laid-back slab of nu-disco is now available as free download.
That PIAS fire - you know who doesn't need much sympathy? Record labels.
At least half the fuss and clamour being made over the Sony/PIAS fire is bullshit. There. Hurtlove by No ceremony
This premiered on a few blogs towards the end of the last week and no one seems to know much about No Ceremony, apart from the fact that they/he/she is from Manchester.
No Man by Deptford Goth
This positively reeks of the sort of music enjoyed by the sort of people who get the backs up of the rowdier teenage residents of E8 and E9, but don’t let that put you off.
Take Another Look by Maribou State
The latest addition to the Fat! Records family, Maribou State have just released their brand new pulsating, down-tempo electronic EP Habitat.
