Ken Livingstone files his papers, officially runs for Mayor, revenge

Darren Atwater | Tuesday 15 June, 2010 15:25

This is not exactly the world’s best kept secret, but Ken Livingstone has filed his papers today and is officially running for mayor, again.

Having won the job twice since the position was created in 2000, Livingstone was one of the rare people who believed Boris Johnson was not yet more cannon fodder from the Conservatives and could possibly win the election. Which, of course, he did.

But now Livingston has rested, stopped the expansion of his kid/mother ratio, and put the newts on a rigid Canadian Air Force exercise regime. Battle lines have been drawn.

The next election is 2012.
