Vancouver’s Young Galaxy have spent the year remixing the hell out of their compatriots – Austra, Grimes, Junior Boys. You can now get the best ones, including a reworking of the very British The Pipettes and the very Swedish The Sounds, together on a free compilation album entitled Versus. They’ll also be releasing a deluxe edition of their Polaris Prize nominated album Shapeshifting on December 13th. Top marks too, for seemingly managing to recruit The Edge for this CFCF track.
