Tory Councilman completely misunderstands protest movement shock
Alex Deane, City of London Councilman (an independent role but he used to be chief of staff to David Cameron so I think we can safely call him a Tory), rails against “self-appointed “protesters”“. Whether he wants protesters to be directly elected, or envisions some form of hereditary protestership, is not clear.

We can only look on enviously at Berlin's cycling paradise
The recent deaths of cyclists in Kings Cross and Bow have shown once again that London’s roads are simply not designed to be shared. We should be looking how to make this better, so we must look to Berlin, where 13% of commuters bike. The figure in London is around 2%.
