Rough Trade ponders expanding into the world beyond London

There is a world beyond London? Snipe has its doubts.
However, the venerable record store with its Portobello Road and Brick Lane locations has set up a twit poll asking where it should expand to next, offering Glasgow, Edinburgh, Oxford, Birmingham, Dublin, Cambridge, Norwich, Brighton, Bath, Bristol, Leeds, Manchester, Newcastle, Cardiff, Belfast, and Liverpool as potential new locations.

Wolverhampton REALLY needs a record store. They all closed down. So many students, I’m sure there’s enough of a scene to support one. Mike Lloyds Megastore closing down in Wolves was like a light blinking out in my young life…
