Daily MPfree: Everything Everything Album Mashup
Here’s a “glitch mob” mashed up one-track advert for Everything Everything album, “Man Alive”. It’s a pretty great pop record stuffed with insistent earworms, all of which are present, if not correct, on this mix.

Daily MPfree: Salem
We’ve some dark, heavy USA dance shit for you today. John Doran, editor of The Quietus, had this banging out of the Green Man ‘fun bus’ last weekend and I was utterly taken with it. Brilliant stuff, and ironic that the best discovery of the festival happened on the way there.
Snipe Likes: Justin Bieber
But only when it has been slowed down 800% to sound like a symphonic return to form for Sigur Ros.
New Video: Of Montreal
In which various scary fuckers and band members engage in hand-to-hand cannibal warfare.
Daily MPfree: Rökurró
Very pretty in an audibly Icelandic style, Rökkurró are a chamber-pop quintet producing beautiful, swooning orchestral arrangements with other-worldly vocals. A bit like Múm perhaps, but less aimlessly textural – Rökkurró are more about melody and songs than drones and moods. Their new album “Í annan heim”, meaning “In Another World”, is out soon.
Daily MPfree: Thumpermonkey Lives!
If you can get past their shocker of a band name, there are plenty of great ideas in this track by Thumpermonkey Lives!. A bit prog, a bit post-rock, and a bit, well, Mansun. But good. Just pretend they are called something else. I’m going with “Ski Pants”.
Daily MPfree: Wavves
Hyped lo-fi fuzz-merchants Wavves are back with more messy guitar-pop fun. When they get it right, they get it really really right, as per last year’s underground hit “So Bored”. Not sure if this one finds them not firing on all cylinders to that extent, but hey, it’s new Wavves, and as such we thought you guys might wanna hear it.
Daily MPfree: Teeth vs Bleeding Heart Narrative
Hard-to-Google LDN trio Teeth are really raking in the remixes lately. First the awesome Dreamtrak version of See Spaces, and now a new one by anthemic post-rock pioneers Bleeding Heart Narrative. They’ll apparently all be released together sometime soon, but in the meantime, get your teeth into this.
