England's Lane

Just around the corner from the picturesque Primrose Hill, this bookshop is every bit as lovely as its surroundings. Opened in July 2010, England’s Lane Bookshop is one of three bookshops owned by the same family.
Upon first entering the shop I was instantly struck by the warm atmosphere, the friendly and happy staff and the fabulous layout. With an upstairs and downstairs area there is plenty of room, making it easy to find what you want.
With an abundance of local Authors and enthusiastic readers, England’s Lane seems like the perfect setting for a bookshop which has previously held events with the likes of David Nicholls (One Day and Starter for Ten), Julia Donaldson (The Gruffalo), Diane Athill, Lauren Child (Charlie and Lola) and Tom Hodgkinson.
As well as events the bookshop has two local book groups that meet once a month, and boasts the best poetry section in London. They also offer a special personal shopper service for parents eager to get their children reading.
All in all England’s Lane Bookshop offers a great social environment for book lovers, excellent services for children and a cosy browsing environment.
