That Sleep ∞ Over’s forthcoming debut Forever got made at all is testament to Stefanie Franciotti’s driving ambition – fellow original members Christa Palazzolo and Sarah Brown left shortly before recording was due to commence. Now joined by members of Pure X and Silent Diane, the Austin, Texas based musician is making hazy dream-pop in a world saturated with hazy, female-fronted dream-pop, but there’s something different about Sleep ∞ Over and Romantic Streams in particular, something affecting, which makes Miss Franciotti stand out from the rest of the bedroom residing, vintage-gear obsessed crowd. Forever is released September 27th via Hippos In Tanks. Look out for UK tour dates soon.
