This scary pair is Detroit techno-pop duo ADULT. It’s been six years since their last LP. They’ve spent the past half-decade working on films and ‘managing a major commercial building renovation’ – which sounds a little bit square until you realise the commercial building in question is probably a chrome-plated, goth-friendly sex dungeon/hip tapas bar. They make discordant electro art-punk and play XOYO with dark-disco provocateurs Light Asylum on May 13, prior to releasing new album The Way Things Fall on May 15, via the rather fine Ghostly International label. Stream album taster Idle (Second Thoughts) below.
