The Conspiracy Theories Day Conference is not just happening Sunday. It goes way way way up the ladder..
The Conspiracy Theories Day Conference at Conway Hall will bring together sceptics, humanists and hopefully secret agents from other planets to discuss what conspiracy theories are, why we believe them and what theories, if any, actually hold any water.

New dot London web address could play havoc with city's bloggers
Boris and team want to procure a dot London web address for the city. I don’t know how we ever managed without one, frankly. But what’s a London based website to do? Snipelondon.london? That’s too many Londons.
Anyway, if this goes through, I’m going to register hotlondon dot london and alondonerslondonforlondoners dot london at the earliest opportunity. With these, I shall make my fortune.

The Josh Hall Column: Oh, how Nick Clegg wishes he were President Bartlett
What a glorious pantomime the Liberal Democrat Conference was. Half cult assembly, half beautifully executed exercise in collective delusion, it made for horrific yet compulsive viewing.

Some things you notice when you catch the first tube of the day
The time is 5.35am, and London awakes. Markets are laid, pigeons peck at discarded kebabs, postmen…well actually postmen are probably still asleep. But some poor mugs set off to work. I am frequently one such mug. This is what I sleepwalk through.

Apparat: A journey from East Berlin and Bryan Ferry to electronic romantism
The only thing between myself and Sascha Ring (aka Apparat) as we chewed the fat on topics ranging from his over-use of percentages to the link between creativity and smoking was the thick layer of dust on my 17’ PC monitor, a broadband connection and boat loads of binary.
