Round the corner from Stoke Newington’s bohemian Church Street on the slightly more edgy High Street, Stoke Newington Bookshop has resided for the past 24 years. They have extensive fiction and non-fiction sections, and a large children’s corner, which is an essential in an area populated with young families. Specialising in ordering in the books you want for the next day if you don’t find them on the shelves, this bookshop offers it all. This also includes events with —both local and further afield—coming to do readings, signings and discussions regularly in the shop. They also participate in the yearly Stoke Newington Literary Festival.
The friendly, welcoming and attentive atmosphere at the shop makes it a lovely place to shop, chat about books and browse. A perfect asset in the heart of a vibrant area of London.
