The five most beautful stolen watches in Tower Hamlets
Mike Pollitt | Wednesday 28 September, 2011 10:48
The police recovered lots of watches in some raids back in July, and now they have put them on Flickr for their owners to claim. Go look.
Some of them are real pretty.
I could imagine Don Draper checking the time on this.
A barometer/thermometer/calendar/clock? That’s amazing!
A pilot’s watch, complete with handy map in case you get lost on the crossing.
Mmmmmm italic shiny numbers…
I like to think of Marie Antoinette wearing this sort of thing as an earring, and I’m not going to let accusations of gross anachronism get in the way.
