Louisa Thomson, Hackney councillor for the ward of Stoke Newington-Central, is saddened by the state of one of her favourite pubs, the Scolt’s Head. Writing on Facebook, she cussed out the staff as ‘wankers’ and called the pub more Shoreditch hipster than a welcoming back street boozer. Considering the ward she represents, comments like that could be trouble at election time if hipsters actually voted.
