SNIPE is actively looking for new contributors.
Who we want
We are particularly looking for contributors in the fields of
- Music
- Civic policy
- Gen Y social commentary
- Food
- Under-reported cultural shifts
- Science
We are open to suggestions for alternative fields of study.
What’s in it for you
- An intelligent audience
- People to collaborate with
- A platform for future advancement (SNIPE writers have written for Comment is Free, The Times, and other money paying publications)
- A mutualised structure in which individual contributors gain from shared growth
- Editorial freedom most of the time, editorial support if you need it
- A long-term project to give meaning to your inexorably shortening life
What’s not in it for you
Much money, because we don’t make much. What we do generate from advertising is paid out to our contributors, cooperative-style. If the thought of contributing without pecuniary reward appalls you, fair enough.
If you are still interested in contributing, know that beer/soft drinks and bar snacks will be supplied as regular incentives. So it’s not as if you’ll go completely unrewarded
Email [email protected] to move things along.
