New venue alert - Owl & Pussycat on Redchurch Street

Okay, so it’s not new, but the Owl & the Pussycat is about to make a comeback.
Many Shoreditchians were devastated by the Pussycat’s closure in early summer. It was one of the last of the old-time boozers, unaffected by time and the rising tide of artist galleries that drifted into Redchurch Street and lapped against the Pussycat’s door.
The new lease owner is 580 Limited, a company that knows how to combine pubs, music, and those artsy-music kids in locations such as the Amersham Arms, the Lock, and the Rest Is Noise.
